Block 1: Art Studio and Portfolio
This studio-based art course is designed for students at varying levels of experience, from beginners exploring foundational skills to advanced artists developing a personal portfolio. Students will work with a variety of media and techniques while building skills in drawing, composition, color, and design.
Beginning students will focus on creative exploration and skill development, while returning students will pursue more advanced projects and develop cohesive portfolio pieces. Emphasis is placed on artistic process, craftsmanship, creative problem-solving, and individual expression through hands-on studio work.

Block 1: Career Exploration
Not sure what you want to do after high school? That’s okay. This course gives students exposure to a wide range of career paths by hearing directly from professionals across multiple fields. Students will explore workplace skills, complete interest and aptitude assessments, and begin identifying strengths, talents, and possible future directions.

Block 1: Cooking 101
From basic kitchen skills to meal planning and food safety, this course equips students with practical knowledge they can use for life. Students will learn how to follow recipes, understand nutrition basics, and prepare simple meals while gaining confidence and independence in the kitchen.

Block 2: Design Fundamentals: Space and Structure
This course introduces students to the foundations of home design through the study of residential architecture and interior design. Students will explore a variety of architectural styles and learn how structure, layout, and function influence the way homes are designed and used.
Through hands-on projects, students will create client previews and develop design concepts while studying core principles of interior design such as scale, color, lighting, and spatial planning. The course also includes an introduction to textiles, finishes, and materials, helping students understand how fabric, texture, and pattern contribute to both aesthetics and functionality in living space.

Block 2: Praise Band
High School Praise Band focuses on developing musical skill, collaboration, and confident stage presence within a worship setting. Students will sharpen their abilities on their chosen instrument or voice while learning mic technique, blending, and live performance skills, all while focusing on worshiping King Jesus together.
*Students should have prior experience with an instrument or vocal practice.

Block 2: Personal Finance
Grounded in sound biblical principles, this course equips students with essential money skills for real life. Topics include budgeting, stewardship, saving, interest, taxes, loans, and mortgages. Students will learn how to manage resources wisely and make informed financial decisions with confidence and integrity.

Block 3: (A & B) From Thread to Finished Project- Sewing Basics
This hands-on course introduces students to sewing and fiber arts through practical projects and creative exploration. Students will learn basic sewing techniques, pattern use, and fabric selection while building skills they can apply in everyday life and future creative pursuits.
Students must bring their own sewing machine and a set of required supplies.

Block 3: (A & B) Early Childhood Education
This course is designed for any student who interacts with children, whether with younger siblings at home, children at church, or their own families in the future. Students will learn how young children grow, learn, and communicate through activity-based, hands-on learning. The course emphasizes practical skills such as play-based learning, guidance, safety, and age-appropriate activities, with special projects that include opportunities to work directly with younger children.

This course emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness through a variety of team sports and group activities. Students will develop cooperation, strategy, and leadership skills while staying active and engaged.

This enrichment course explores the strategy, creativity, and problem-solving found in games—without screens. Students will engage in tabletop games, logic challenges, cooperative games, role-playing scenarios, and hands-on design activities that encourage critical thinking and collaboration.Through gameplay and discussion, students will develop skills such as strategic planning, communication, adaptability, and sportsmanship. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, fair play, and thoughtful decision-making, offering a screen-free environment where students can enjoy games while strengthening cognitive and social skills.

This course focuses on physical fitness, movement, and overall wellness through aerobics, strength training, and conditioning activities. Students will build healthy habits, improve endurance and flexibility, and learn how physical activity supports long-term health.

Boys’ PE emphasizes physical conditioning, strength, agility, and teamwork through structured activities and fitness challenges. Students will work on building endurance, coordination, and healthy habits while learning the value of discipline and perseverance.
